Job Description

As a Cloud Migrations Manager (CMM) at Atlassian, you'll lead a dynamic team dedicated to guiding customers through their transition from on-premise solutions to the cloud. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless migrations by managing risks, promoting best practices, and delivering actionable insights. Reporting to a regional Group Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and strategic partners to help our customers achieve their cloud objectives successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Management. Oversee the Cloud Migrations Management team’s operational activities, including tracking team health, coaching on performance metrics, and supporting critical customer issues to resolve blockers quickly.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with teams across Product, Sales, Channel, Technical Support, Marketing, and Customer Success to address customer needs and enhance our migration strategy.
  3. Customer Insights. Gather and communicate customer feedback to refine product offerings, identify gaps in documentation, and assess the impact of concurrent initiatives.
  4. OKR & Metrics Management. Drive key performance indicators, such as migration completion rates and customer referrals. Focus on achieving operational efficiencies and reducing migration times.
  5. Staff Allocation & Development. Plan headcount, manage performance, and conduct assessments to ensure the team's growth and efficiency.
  6. Strategic Planning. Develop and implement strategies to improve the migration experience, including running experiments to test new approaches and leading large-scale company initiatives.
  7. Analytical Reporting. Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and collaborate with business analysts to create executive-level reports and a robust analytics strategy.

Qualifications

  1. Experience. 8+ years in a relevant customer-facing role within Enterprise software, Professional Services, or Consulting. 4+ years of people management experience.
  2. Skills. Proven ability to drive change from customer insights, influence cross-functional teams, and manage complex projects. Expertise in process improvements, automation, and conflict resolution.
  3. Technical Knowledge. Experience with Atlassian products or similar tools, strong project management skills, and analytical capabilities.
  4. Communication. Exceptional skills in navigating decision-makers, articulating themes from customer data, and developing executive-level reporting.
