Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with Technical Solution Architects and process Functional Leads to perform detailed design tasks.
- Assist in the assessment of client network environments, identify gaps, and suggest performance improvement opportunities based on leading industry practices.
- Collaborate with the team in the development of implementation roadmaps and transition plans.
- Create presentations outlining findings and present them to client managers and engineers.
- Develop network engineering solutions from concept through implementation, working closely with clients.
- Lead offshore teams in the development of network detailed designs in areas such as software-defined networking, network segmentation, network access control, and cloud networking components.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for emerging network technologies.
- Implement network infrastructure solutions including hands-on engineering, configuration, testing, deployment, and initial support.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with client engagement team personnel.
- Drive internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports, and presentations.
Skills / Competencies
Essential
- Proficient in Spring Microservices, Spring Rest, and Spring Boot.
- Experience in Core Java (JDK 8+).
- Good working knowledge in Swagger, REST API, JAX-RS, Log Analysis (Splunk).
- Strong hands-on experience with source code management systems and CI/CD tools – Git and Bamboo.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, JUnit test, and Mockito.
- Experience in all phases of SDLC, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience in designing and developing customer-facing web applications.
- Experience in working in an onshore/offshore model leading offshore teams.
Preferred
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure solutions engineering, implementation, integrations, and operations of enterprise and carrier-class networks.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience of technical experience and strong working knowledge of IP Internetworking, LAN Switching, WAN, and network security are expected.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with cloud-based network and network security infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
