As a Test Automation Architect at Infosys, you will be pivotal in defining and implementing enterprise-level automation strategies for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TOSCA, HPMC, and UFT to design robust automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and enhancing existing automation models, defining project-specific automation frameworks, and ensuring alignment with evolving technology landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test automation solutions and lead the implementation of automation frameworks.
- Design and execute automation strategies, test plans, and test scripts for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Specialize in API and microservices testing using tools like Rest Assured and Postman.
- Advocate for Agile and DevOps methodologies, driving the shift left in testing processes.
- Collaborate with CI/CD teams using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
- Industrialize BDD/TDD practices with tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.
- Mentor team members on automation best practices and tools.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines and varied project scopes.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate automation strategies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 8-12 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5-8 years focused on UI, API, and mobile test automation.
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Expertise in CI/CD environments and tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (JIRA, Rally, ALM) and source code management (Bitbucket).
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks like TestNG, Junit, and mocking solutions.
- Ability to lead distributed teams in an agile environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of emerging trends in Quality Engineering (RPA, AI/ML in QA).
- Familiarity with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and Playwright Automation.
- Experience with mobile automation tools (UFT Mobile, etc.).
