Job Description

Infosys, a global leader in digital services and consulting, is seeking a Test Environment Manager / Lead in Sydney. The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining end-to-end non-production environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The position ensures these environments meet program needs, support efficient testing processes, and adhere to best practices and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and configure non-production environments spanning on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain environments to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with program requirements.
  • Establish and enforce environment policies, processes, and standards, including risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve environment-related issues and promote best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in health check processes, tool frameworks, and operational practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test environment configurations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and telemetry data related to test environments.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Public Cloud Technologies: Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience in stakeholder and program management.
  • Effective negotiation skills to manage environment contentions across multiple programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Incident, Change Management, and Problem Management.
  • Experience with industry-standard test environment management tools/platforms.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow (SNOW) for environment management and monitoring solutions like AppDynamics, Splunk, and automation utilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within the DevOps CI/CD ecosystem.
  • Ability to design and implement test environment strategies for large-scale transformation programs.
