We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Experience Designer to join our team in Australia. This role will collaborate within the Wongdoody Unit, focusing on creating visually compelling graphics, multimedia content, and user-friendly interfaces that align with client branding and enhance overall user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling graphics for internal and external communications (presentations, infographics, promotional materials).
- Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all materials in collaboration with the team.
- Develop digital and print assets, including multimedia content for various platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for visual and user experience improvements.
- Support the redesign of online platforms, focusing on user-friendly interfaces and content.
- Collaborate closely with Experience Designers on planning, wireframing, and prototyping new online platform features.
- Ensure all design work aligns with goals and adheres to brand guidelines.
Skills/Competencies
Essential
- Proven experience as a Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design works.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of design principles. typography, color theory, layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Knowledge of UX design principles and best practices.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development processes.
- Willingness to learn and develop experience design skills.
Qualifications/Traits
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in digital agency as Graphic or UX Designer.
- Portfolio showcasing key projects, roles, deliverables, and successes.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Experience in driving design reviews and closing on design requirements independently.
- Collaborative work experience in cross-functional teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
