Join the gTech Analytics, Platforms, and Tools team, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing Google’s products and internal tools. As a Web Solutions Engineer on the Tools Development and Automation team, you'll spearhead the creation of solutions to streamline operations within Google's Global Business Organization. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and improving tools while collaborating closely with Engineering and Product partners. You'll harness Google's infrastructure to tackle complex challenges across extensive datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using industry-standard and Google-specific development tools.
- Analyze problems, develop solutions, and resolve issues to ensure successful implementation.
- Make technical contributions by writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code in JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL, and other relevant languages.
- Provide subject-matter expertise to support the team's objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- 2 years of experience in Java, C++, Python, or related object-oriented programming.
- 1 year of experience in TypeScript/Javascript front-end programming and Database/SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for engineering with experience in unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.
- Ability to provide effective technical solutions to business challenges.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments with efficient task prioritization and management.
