December 2, 2025 — Anthropic has announced Claude for Nonprofits, a global initiative created in partnership with the GivingTuesday movement to help nonprofits amplify their impact through accessible, secure, and workflow-aligned AI. The program provides deep discounts, new nonprofit-focused integrations, and a free AI training curriculum designed specifically for the nonprofit sector.

Nonprofits around the world are already turning to Claude to accelerate critical work. Organizations such as the Epilepsy Foundation, International Rescue Committee, IDinsight, SkillUp, and Robin Hood report significant productivity gains—some as high as 16× faster workflows in analysis, communication, and operational tasks.

Building on these early learnings, Claude for Nonprofits focuses on three pillars: affordable access, integration with nonprofit tools, and AI fluency training.

Up to 75% Off Team and Enterprise Plans

Eligible nonprofit organizations can now access Claude’s Team and Enterprise plans at discounts of up to 75%.

  • Team Plan – for growing nonprofits needing shared projects and organizational knowledge.

  • Enterprise Plan – for large nonprofits requiring advanced security, privacy controls, and administrative management.

Discounted plans include access to Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Claude Haiku 4.5, with Claude Opus 4.5 available upon request for Enterprise users who need frontier-level reasoning and analysis.

These models support advanced nonprofit tasks such as:

  • Grant writing and program evaluation

  • Impact analysis and donor reporting

  • Data synthesis and field insights

  • Volunteer and campaign operations

New Connectors for Benevity, Blackbaud, and Candid

Claude already connects to major productivity ecosystems—including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Box, and Asana. Today, support expands to three major nonprofit-sector platforms:

1. Benevity

Access a verified database of 2.4 million+ nonprofits to power donation and volunteering searches directly inside Claude.

2. Blackbaud

Connect AI workflows to donor management systems, fundraising insights, and CRM capabilities.

3. Candid

Search funders, grants, and global nonprofit data to support grant discovery and philanthropic strategy.

Anthropic is also partnering with The Bridgespan Group, Idealist Consulting, Vera Solutions, and Slalom to help nonprofits integrate AI into broader strategy, impact measurement, and organizational transformation.

Free Course: AI Fluency for Nonprofits

In collaboration with GivingTuesday, Anthropic is offering a free education program through Anthropic Academy to help nonprofit staff understand and adopt AI effectively.

The course covers:

  • Grant writing and proposal optimization

  • Donor engagement and fundraising strategy

  • Program evaluation

  • Operational efficiency

  • Responsible use and privacy best practices

To supplement the course, a set of workflow playbooks and step-by-step guides is available, offering practical examples for key nonprofit operations.

Empowering Nonprofits to Do More With Less

Claude for Nonprofits reflects Anthropic’s commitment to scalable, responsible AI adoption across mission-driven organizations. By reducing cost barriers, integrating with trusted nonprofit platforms, and providing targeted training, the program helps nonprofits spend less time on administrative tasks and more time serving communities.
