Microsoft has introduced the Azure Cosmos DB Account Overview Hub, a new centralized experience within the Azure portal designed to simplify database management, learning, and optimization.
Whether you are setting up your first Cosmos DB database or running production-scale workloads, navigating the right tools and guidance is now faster and more intuitive. The Overview Hub consolidates setup help, monitoring tools, data management, and learning resources into a single, easy-to-navigate view.
You can access the Overview Hub by opening your Azure Cosmos DB account in the Azure portal, then selecting Overview from the left navigation pane.
What’s Inside the Overview Hub
The Hub is organized into five key sections, supporting common tasks across every stage of your Azure Cosmos DB journey:
1. Setup & Optimization
Get started with databases, design for scale, and prepare your application for production. This section includes Quickstarts, samples, and optimization tips to help improve performance and cost efficiency.
