Mumbai, India – August 29, 2025: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) today announced a new joint venture with Meta to deliver enterprise-grade artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for businesses across India and select global markets.

As part of the agreement, Reliance will hold a 70% stake and Meta will hold 30%, with a combined initial investment of approximately INR 855 crore (approximately US$100 million).

The JV will build on Meta’s open-source Llama models and Reliance’s scale and reach to deliver:

  • Enterprise AI Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS): A secure, full-stack environment enabling organizations to customize, deploy, and manage generative AI for use cases in sales, marketing, IT operations, customer support, finance, and more.

  • Pre-built AI Solutions: Ready-to-deploy vertical and cross-functional tools tailored to Indian enterprises and SMBs.

The companies said this collaboration will make enterprise AI more affordable and scalable, with flexible deployment options across cloud, on-premises, and Reliance’s infrastructure.

Shri Mukesh D. Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Limited, said:
