About EXIF

EXIF is Short for Exchangeable Image File which is used for storing interchange information in digital photography image files using JPEG compression. In photography all the digital cameras use the EXIF annotation which storing information on the image such as shutter speed, exposure compensation. There have number of metering system, flash, ISO number, date and time the image was taken, white balance, auxiliary lenses that were used and resolution. EXIF files use the JPEG DCT format because all the image data can be read by any application supporting JPEG, including essentially all Web browsers and image editing, desktop presentation and document creation applications.
