Traceability matrix is used to map between requirements and
test cases
it is used to check all requirements are covered or not?
Tracabilty Matrix is a document which is used to Map the UseCase and testcases.i.e.it shows the full usecase on one side and names the respective testCases in which the flows of that usecase are covered.

Hello James...
Thanx for your reply....
Traceability Matrix is used for both SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) as well as Test Life Cycle. In Test Life Cycle it is used to check in test cases whether Product meets software Requirement or not....
But what is its use in SDLC.... and if there is some modifications in SRS according to client's requirements, then how it performs....
