Best way to develop skills is to solve maximum problems that are faced and if you want to learn quickly just be active on forums and try to find answers to maximum questions.

I would say try to do your own little project- Something that is interesting to you. And get a good book that you can refer to if needed. Once you get about an year to year an half coding experience, get the certification in the relevant skill..

Hard work and keep learning. Learning never stops no matter what.
Hang out on communities like this and learn more. Read more book. Do lot of coding . It's all about hard work.
