Despite having key roles in the World of Warcraft lore (including a
key figure in the story of the Horde) shamans tend to be a rather
overlooked character class. They were the hybrid class before druids
gained moonkin form, and can do mean dps as a caster or a melee class.
But they are still wow gold
rather under represented. Is it the sheer amount of totems? Is it the
almost split second shifting of party roles that worries people? Shamans
are considered a jack of all trades, good at many things but master of
none. This fact should not push you away buy wow gold from them though.
Totems and buffs.
Totems are what makes a shaman a shaman. They bring with them multiple
buffs that another class can never top in their sheer number. They can
debuff enemies in range. They can help the shaman in their mana regen,
all at the cheap wow gold same time as the shaman can place down not just one but four out at any given time.
On top of totems, shaman can not only resurrect themselves to recover
and help a fight or a dead party, but they can also cast the arguably
best damage enhancing buff in the game - Bloodlust/Heroism. world of warcraft gold This buff is so important that never have I've been in a raid and never heard it called for towards killing a boss.
Think on what role you plan to specialize in.
Elemental? Enhancement? Restoration? Each role plays differently, spec differently, and gear differently. Have a plan rift platinum
from the onset what you see your shaman as primarily being. Unlike
single role classes where no matter how speced still are that role,
speccing wrongly can make you insufficient at any of your roles.
Keep in mind you will have to change up on the fly.
Like most hybrid classes, sometimes things runescape gold
happen. Sometimes the group healer dies. Sometimes a dps has fallen
dead and everyone is topped off for the moment health wise. Or maybe a
mob has broken free from a snare and needs to be controlled before it
kills the healer. Some many situations can arise that a non hybrid class
may find themselves S.O.L. over.
A shaman that normally does caster damage will have to be able to
pick up healing on the fly. A dps may have to semi tank to keep
squishier classes alive. Totems may have to be switched out to slow a
mob...a shaman is all about following the needs of the group. Always
when gathering gear, collect an offset for other roles just in case.
