shortcut for the Windows 8 operating system. So, we have to follow these methods to create a restart shortcut in Windows 8 (given below).
The steps for creating the shortcut areas
follows.
Step 1
Open Windows 8, Show on the desktop then right-click on it, select New and then select Shortcut.

Step 2
After creating a shortcut, we have to enter the location of the item and click next. We have to use this
code.

Step 3
After
entering the respective code, it will ask you to enter a name for the Shortcut.
Enter the respective name of the item we have to make.

Step 4
Click on Finish, and show the icon on the desktop.

Step 5
Now we have to change the icon of the shortcut; right-click on this shortcut
then choose a property and change the icon on this shortcut.

Here, we have to see there are many images
selected according to our shortcut.
Step 6
Now click on Apply and ok. We
have created a shortcut for the Restart option.
Step 7
In this step, we have to
Restart option in the Metro interface, we have to follow these steps. Go to the
Windows Explorer.

Step 8
Enter the following code in the address bar.

Step 9
After copying, the paste shows this icon in Accessories. Open it.

Step 10
Now we have successfully created a shortcut for restart in
the Metro interface in Windows 8.
