Setup File History in Windows 8

Introduction

 
In this article, we are explaining how to set up File History in Windows 8. File History is a backup application that protects your personal files stored in libraries and Desktop folders. File History is a new feature of File Backup and Restore in Windows 8. File History Backup replaces the previous version.
 
File History did not support extra file backup which is the most important feature. The File History can be accessed only from the Control Panel view. The File History has features to automatically detect when an external storage device is plugged in. File History combines the old Windows functionality with the time machine and can easily restore multiple versions of old files.
 

Steps How to Setup File History in Windows 8

 
Step 1
 
Move the cursor on the right-bottom and select the search box and enter into the search box what you want, as in.

In the search box, you can type the name "Control Panel" and click on the Control Panel.

In this step, you click on "System and Security".
