Step 1
First, we move to the Windows 8 Start Screen, and we'll see how many messages are waiting and also a bit of a preview of the message body. In Windows 8, we want to add a new account to Mail. To do that, click on the Mail tile from the Windows 8 Start Screen.

After that move the mouse to the lower-left corner to bring up the Charms Bar. Click "Settings".

Next, a list of email accounts currently set up on your system is shown. Click on "Add an Account".

After that we select the email account we want to add. Here I am adding a G-mail account.
