Download User License Information For PowerApps And Microsoft Flow

PowerApps is one of the services available in the Office 365 environment that enables us to create apps or forms for business and other uses without coding experience. We can connect against external data sources like SQL, SharePoint, Salesforce, etc... to develop an application. PowerApps has its own data source called Common Data Service.

We can connect to external data sources like SQL, SharePoint, Salesforce, etc... to develop an application. PowerApps has its own data source called Common Data Service.

To use the PowerApps in our application, we require licenses in the Office 365 environment. The following steps will show you how to download the active user licenses associated with the PowerApps and Microsoft Flow in Office 365.

Step 1

From the app launcher, click on PowerApps.

Once you are in PowerApps, click the Gear button from the top-right corner.

In the menu, click on Admin Center.

In the PowerApps Admin Center ( https://admin.powerapps.com ), expand Tenant from the sidebar.

Then, select User Licenses.

In the workspace, click "Download a list of active user licenses" button.

Click "Download the file" link.

Now, we have the list of PowerApps and Microsoft license type for associated users in CSV format.

The file returns the values for the below fields.

  • Username
  • Email Address
  • Service
  • License
  • License Assigned Date
  • Is Trial
