How To Change Location Where New Apps Will Install In Windows 10

In Microsoft Windows 10, you can select new Windows apps from the Store and install them in your device. If you want to change the app location on drive, or your drive has no more space, then you can change the installation directory for new Windows apps, to any internal or external drive. And you can only use one location at a time to save apps. The drives will not need to be formatted to able to use them to install and store Windows apps. See here.
Step 1
First, click on “Start” button and click “Settings” icon.
Step 2
In the Windows Settings window, select “System”.
Step 3
On the next window, go to the Storage menu in the left panel. Now, at the right side, see "Save locations" section.
Here, you will see the default locations for new apps, documents, pictures, and music. You can decide the new default installation location for Windows 10 apps and select the drive from the drop-down menu where you want to save the app. Finally, click Apply.
Step 4
In this step, select “Apps & features” menu from the left panel and select any apps which you want to move. When you click on the “Move” button, your app will start moving to the new location.
