How to create a Logic App to convert documents into PDF

Here, we will see how we can convert docs into pdf and store into Dropbox automatically.

Logic App to convert documents into PDF

Here, we need to connect PDF4 and Dropbox.

Prerequisites

• Microsoft Azure Account
• DropBox Account
• PDF4me Account

Follow the below steps to build a Workflow using a template.

Step 1

Log into https://portal.azure.com/.

In the dashboard, choose to create a resource and click on Integration. Now, select "Logic App".

Step 2

Enter the name you want to assign to the logic. Select the subscription and resource group where you organize related resources and location where your logic app is stored. Then, click on "Create".

Here is the dashboard. Click on "Logic App Designer".

Step 3

Now, click on the Blank Logic App.

Step 4

Configure the data by signing into the Dropbox and PDF4me. Click on “Add a Trigger”

• Search for Dropbox in the search bar and choose the trigger.
  
• Sign in to dropbox.
  
• We need to give permission to access our accounts.
  
• Next, choose Folder and how often do you want to check for item?
  

Step 5

• Now search for PDF4me.
  
• Signin PDF4me
  
• Then, choose the action for the workflow.
  
• Choose File Content and File name
  

Step 6

Now, connect Dropbox to store the pdf file

• Next, Choose File path, File Name, and File Content for saving the pdf file from PDF4me.
  
• The final workflow will be like this.
  
• Now, let us save and run the workflow.
  

Output

Upload the file in the dropbox in Azure Logicc App Folder.

File Uploaded

Now, the sample.txt file converted into PDF and save it in to PDF folder in Dropbox.
