How To Use Blue Light Filter In Windows 10

Introduction

An additional quality feature in Windows 10 is to enable a blue (night) light filter. Users can enable blue light filters in Windows 10 by using the built-in night light feature and also by third-party apps as well. However, it is not a well-known feature among most Windows users.

Some monitors also have this in-built blue light filters or eye saver mode feature. For those users who have ordinary monitors that don't support night light or eye-saver mode features, Windows 10 has this unique feature.

A survey has shown that frequent exposure to blue light for hours on end can lead to damaged retinal cells. This can cause eye problems. Users who have to work long hours on blue (normal) light screens suffer eye strain and headache problems.

However, in Windows 10 there is a remedy. By enabling the eye-saver mode (night light) feature, users can protect themselves from these problems.

Users can also schedule the night light or eye-saver mode for a particular time or duration as per their requirements.
