Mathematics 2: Calculus

Welcome to the second mathematics session for the AI42 series where we will be taking the next step from understanding basic algebra to exploring your data further using methods of calculus!

Calculus is extensively used behind the scenes in many places within data science and AI. In this second session, we will be diving into calculus including topics of minima and maxima as well as derivatives and integrals. Through these topics, you will be able to understand methods of data science such as gradient descent that will allow for optimization of an algorithm.
