Power Automate: Multiple Users Participation Involved in Collaborative Workflow

Upon sharing the flow, if both users are editing it simultaneously, how can we distinguish their concurrent involvement?

The system user has made edits to the flow and has also shared it with another user.

Flow

On the other side, another individual has logged in, accessed the flow, and is currently making edits.

When the System Administrator is also editing concurrently, both individuals will observe the presence of the other participants, as depicted in the screen below.

Edit flow

Accessed the flow and edits

Both users can proceed with editing, and when they attempt to save the flow, there will be no issues.

Now, after the initial user has saved their changes, if another person saves subsequent modifications, i.e., the second person saves after the first.

They will encounter a warning below, prompting them to choose an option to prevent conflicts.

Apply changes

Now, you will be prompted to save this as a new flow.

The newly saved flow will not be shared with other users and can persist independently, allowing sharing with another user as needed.
