Introduction
The iPhone 12 is expected to land very soon, and in a first, for Apple, it could be joined by as many as three other phones, rumored to be called the iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
As such, there should be more iPhone choices than ever this year, especially once you factor in the iPhone SE (2020) which launched earlier in the year.
While we know the iPhone 12 range is coming soon, we don't know exactly when- usually it would be early September, but there are numerous reports of delays, and even Apple has said the phones will hit stores earlier than normal. But we still expect the upcoming phones will be in eager hands before the end of October, and they may well still be announced in September, so the wait should almost be over.
The new iPhone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen LCD display. It may come equipped with Apple A13 Bionic chipset and may run on iOS 14 out-of-box. Apple iPhone 12 is rumored to come with a notch on the top of the display. it may also come with TouchID to unlock the device. As far as the camera is concerned, the new iPhone may offer a dual rear camera setup. The camera sensors may include a 12MP main camera and a 12MP telephoto lens. For selfies, the handset is likely to offer a 12 MP camera at the front.
Apple has long been expected to debut a batch of 5G- enabled iPhones this fall. Now it appears all of the company's new phone releases this year may be able to connect to the next generation of super-fast wireless networks, according to Wedbush analyst Dan Ives.
That's a significant milestone that could help convince millions of people to upgrade their smartphones. 5G could make the iPhone 12 a must-have product.

iPhone 12 vs iPhone 11: Models and Sizes
We have heard from multiple sources that Apple is launching four models of the iPhone 12 this fall. The release date could be October or November, based on the latest leaks, and production is said to start in July.
The entry-level model should be a 5.4- inch iPhone 12, which would be a new size for Apple. There would also be a 6.1- inch iPhone 12, similar to the regular iPhone 11.
As you step up to the Pro phones, the iPhone 12 Pro is also expected to come in two sizes 6.1 inches for iPhone 12 Pro and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are 5.8 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.
Overall, this lineup makes sense. Before it was a little weird that the 5.8- inch iPhone 11 Pro cost more the lager 6.1- inch iPhone 11.
