You’re in the market for a new iPhone, but don’t know which one to buy. So many new iPhones just dropped and you’re completely overwhelmed by the choices. Well, you’re in luck because we are going to take a look at each feature of each individual new iPhone model to find the right one for you.

Let’s start with the iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone 12 mini is the perfect phone for someone who values convenience, but also wants all the new updates and latest tech.

This model comes in several different colors including Blue, Green, (product) Red, White and Black. These are also the same colors as the iPhone 12. Additionally, Apple has partnered with the (Product) Red company, so that when you purchase a red iPhone, 100% of all eligible proceeds go towards supporting those in need during this pandemic and those most vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.

Therefore if you like convenience and helping out those less fortunate, but still want all the latest tech updates, then either the iPhone 12 mini or the iPhone 12 is the one for you.

Unfortunately, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max do not have the option to purchase a (product) Red model.

If you’re truly stuck between the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 and can’t decide which one is the one for you, take a look at what makes them similar and what makes them different from each other.

For starters, the mini is $100 cheaper than the iPhone 12. It also has a much smaller display screen of 5.4 inches instead of 6.1 inches. Both phones are 5G compatible, so they are going to function at the same speed. They also have the exact same camera features:
  • Ultra wide
  • Wide
  • Dolby Vision HDR Video Recording up to 30 fps
  • 2X Optical Zoom Range
So at this point, only the price and the size differ. Both models have the same A14 Bionic Chip, which Apple claims is the fastest smartphone chip yet, the same drop performance feature improvements, storage and Face ID to unlock your phone. The only other thing that separates these two models is the battery life. The iPhone 12 has 2 more hours of battery life than the iPhone 12 mini.

So if and when you are deciding between an iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12, consider size, price and battery life. If you like to see things large on your screen for the best streaming and viewing, then the iPhone 12 may be the right phone for you.

Next, let’s take a look at the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Like the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12, these two models are also extremely similar. So what exactly about them is so similar? First of all, both models come in different colors than the other two models; Gold, Graphite, Silver and the all new Pacific Blue color. No matter which color you choose, you’re sure to get extremely fast download speeds with the 5G Network on either device.

Both models also include the A14 Bionic chip just in case you were worried that the 5G Network isn’t fast enough. To conclude the similarities between these two models, they both have the same storage space, which is much larger than the previous two models, the same water resistance, which is the exact same as the previous two models, and the same improved drop resistance which is also the exact same as the previous two models.

Let’s take a moment now and look at what all four new iPhone models have in common.
  • 5G Network compatible
  • A14 Bionic chip, the fastest chip in any smartphone
  • Face ID to unlock your phone
  • Water resistance ( up to 6 meters for 30 mins)
  • Design (ceramic shield, improved drop performance 4X, and Magsafe compatible)
So when you buy any of these models you can expect the features listed above.

Now, let’s take a look at what sets the iPhone 12 Plus and the iPhone 12 Plus Max apart from each other and from every other iPhone.

The most obvious is the price. These two models are also $100 apart, the iPhone 12 Plus starting at $999 and the iPhone 12 Plus Max starting at $1099.

Something to note, not all of the newer models are priced $100 apart. The iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Plus and priced $200 apart, with the iPhone 12 at $799 and the iPhone 12 Plus at $999.

The next difference between these two phones is the 6.1 inch display screen of the iPhone 12 Plus and the 6.7 inch display screen of the iPhone 12 Plus Max. The iPhone 12 and the 12 Plus have the same exact display screen size, while the iPhone 12 Plus Max display screen is just massive.

While both the iPhone 12 Plus and the iPhone 12 Plus Max have some of the same features as the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 camera, including ultra wide and wide, these more advanced models also have telephoto, night mode and low light mode. Telephoto, night mode and low light mode are features that allow you to take crystal clear photos in the dark without losing any of the vibrant colors or lights.

The iPhone 12 Plus also has Dolby Vision HDR Video Recording up to 30 fps, just like the mini and the 12. However, what’s unique about the iPhone 12 Plus is that it is the only one of the newer iPhone models to have 4X Optical Zoom range, instead of 2 like the other two models.

The iPhone 12 Pro Plus has the most advanced camera ever with Dolby Vision HDR Video Recording up to 60 fps, and 5X Optical Zoom Range.

Finally, something that could make or break your decision is battery life. The iPhone 12 Pro has up to 17 hours of battery life, the same as the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 Pro Plus, on the other hand, has 20 hours of battery life. Just to be clear, battery life means how long your phone can stay on while constantly streaming video. Therefore, if you need to film or edit something on your phone, the iPhone 12 Plus Pro can withstand up to 20 straight hours without having to be charged.
