Whenever you are creating the new custom library in the SharePoint environment ,and if you get the error message like this
'A list, survey, discussion board, or document library with the specified title already exists in this Web site. Please choose another title."
Don't be frightened. There is somewhere the title with the same name exists in your environment which is causing the issue.
The Resolution is simple
- Open the Share Point Designer
- Select all the files and see if the custom library name which you are trying to create exists.
- If yes delete it and recreate the same.
