Cell Identification in Database Checkpoint and Modify a Table Checkpoint in QTP

Specifying the Cell Identification Settings for Database Checkpoint

While creating the Database checkpoint on flight application QTP insert > Checkpoint > Database checkpoint. Specify SQL query manual and after that it display the Database checkpoint Properties box. Click on Cell Identification button.

The settings in the Cell Identification tab determine how Quick Test locates the cells to be checked. The settings in this tab apply to all selected cells.

Modifying a Table Checkpoint

You can change the expected data, settings and cell identification options for an existing table checkpoint

To modify the settings of the table checkpoint

In the Keyword View or Expert View, right click the table checkpoint that you want to modify

Select Checkpoint Properties
