Step 1: Add a New Folder in your application named ‘Images’.
Step 2: Put your .png Image in the Images Folder for the Application Icon.
Step 3: Open WMAppManifest.xml file from the Properties Folder and change the default values of the application properties as mentioned below:
- ‘Display Name’ - Type the suitable Text according to the application, here i have given 'My App'
- ‘App Icon’ - Browse the path of your .png image which exist in the Images Folder
Step 4: Run the Application
Step 5: Swipe the Start Screen to view your application Tile.
