Overview
In this blog, we will talk about the Global Search using Power BI Service Homepage.
With the September release of Power BI, it facilitates the Global Search option.
Currently, this option is in preview.
We can search the following information throughout the organization.
- Dashboards
- Reports
- Apps
- Workspaces
We just need to use the following option for global search.
When we search for anything, it will provide us with the following auto-suggestion. When we click on any suggestions, it will redirect us to the page of the report, dashboard, workspace, and apps.
Note
As the page is in preview right now, it indexes every 24 to 72 hours, so any new artifacts that you create might not show up until the next day.
