Windows 8 Installation Experience
I am upgrading my laptop from Windows 8 Release Preview to Windows 8 Pro. I will post the experience here.
I download .iso file from MSDN and burn on a DVD.
Installing from the disk
You MUST need a key to install Windows 8. You can find your key in your MSDN account.
Windows will ask if you want to keep your personal files or remove everything.
Message- Installing Windows 8 .. 67% completed already in about 10 mins.
Followed default instructions.
Windows 8 will ask you for an email (Microsoft account, Hotmail or another email you used with Microsoft) and password. That will be your userid.
Everything is installed.
Start using Windows 8.
