SharePoint is a Microsoft technology used for sharing documents between different users through webpages.
- It can also be used to communicate between different users.
- It can be used for providing information (company info).
- It can be used for assigning tasks to the employees.
SharePoint Can be used in an intranet environment or an internet.
SharePoint is an information sharing platform where all the users (employees) of a company can access the information or provide information.
There are 3 different types of users to work on a SharePoint:
- EndUsers
- Developers
- Administrators
1. Endusers are the users in the company to access the general information providing using SharePoint.
2. Developers are the ASP.NET programmers which can provide additional functionality to the SharePoint
3. Administrators control the SharePoint through different users and permissions and also they are responsible for backup and recovery.
