Modern Site Sharing to External Users

Introduction

 
1. Go to your Modern Admin Centre: https://<Enter your Tenant>-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/home
 
2. Select your site under active sites for Editing and click the sharing option, as shown in the below snapshot. 
 
 
 
3. Add the External Users, as shown. 
 
 
4. You will receive a notification email in your Outlook or Webmail, as shown below. 
 
 
5. The external user has to recognize this email, which is forwarded from [email protected].
 
Then, the external user has to open the mailer from their personal account. Follow the steps as shown in the below snapshots.
 

 
 
 
6. After creating your own Hotmail/Outlook account or signing in with your already existing Hotmail/Outlook account, you can access the modern site application and content seamlessly. Happy coding!
