Most Frequently Used Google Assistant Commands

Google assistant can be very useful when you know how and when to use it. It will make your life much easier than you can even imagine.
You can always trigger your Google assistant by saying "Hey Google" or "Ok Google".
 
Here are few of the commands which can be very useful if you are using Google assistant.
 
Hey Google, play [song title] by [artist] from Spotify. 
 
Controlling music is one of the most frequent activities in our lives. This command will instantly play a song for you, and later on you can control it with Play, Pause, and Stop commands. You can always have access to turn the volume up or down anytime.
 
You can also listen to specific radio stations, poems, predefined playlists, etc
  • "Hey Google, play some hip hop." 
  • "Hey Google, help me relax."
  • "Hey Google, read Women and Power." 
"Hey Google, set a timer for 10 minutes." 
 
We do have many work priorities in our day to day lives, this command will help you to remember things and you can also do workouts and set timers accordingly. Setting up an alarm is one of my most-used commands.
  • "Hey Google, set an alarm for 8.30 tomorrow morning."
  • "Hey Google, do I have any alarms set?"
  • "Hey Google, cancel the alarm for 8.30." 
"Hey Google, do I have anything scheduled for today?"
 
This is one of the most useful command for Google assistant. It will give you your schedule of specific times. It can also set a reminder for specific meetings.
  • "Hey Google, what does my day look like?"
  • "Hey Google, remind me at 8 am tomorrow to take my lunch in to work."
  • "Hey Google, remember that I left the spare keys in the kitchen cupboard."
  • "Hey Google, where did I put the spare keys?" 
General queries and commands
  • "Hey Google, is it windy this morning?"
  • "Hey Google, what are today's headlines?"
  • "Hey Google, flip a coin."
  • "Hey Google, spell manoeuvre."
  • "Hey Google, how many calories are in a courgette?"
Apart from the above commands, you can control smart home appliances just with your voice.
  • "Hey Google, turn on the Bedroom Light."
  • "Hey Google, show me the backdoor camera." 
Another common use of Google Assistant is also to receive or make calls, messages.
  • "Hey Google, call Ravi."
  • "Hey Google, send message to Ravi that I will be late" 
  • "Hey Google, is my phone connected over Bluetooth?"
