I am doing a project..........I wil be provided with two PCs with internet........server and client.....I am building the web page on server......and I want to access this page from client.........how to do this plz help.....

All you need is to develop your application and install IIS server on the same pc and then create virtual directory of your application and the job will get done and you can access it by using ip address or using computer name that's it !!!

I you are developing a web application and you want to access it from other pc, there is no need to do socket programming and all. Can you exactly what you are trying to achieve.

Actually I want to develop a client and server .My server is having the web based .net application and I want to run this application in client .I want to do this using sockets in c#.

You need to install IIS server and create virtual directory for your applciation and access it from other PC with the help of the computer name i.e. http://PC1/MyApplication/Default.aspx.
