Are .net2.0 certifications still valid this year?

Hello, I want to get MCPD with C#.net2.0 version, but meanwhile, I do worry about it will expire, could anyone tell me is't true? And gives me some advice, thank you !

As far my knowledge, no .NET Fx 2.0 exams will going to expire. I suggest you to go for 70-536 first because that is the basic exam you need to give.

Hi, I'm preparing to take the exam of 70-536, it's the basic exam useful for .NET both 2.0 and 3.5. But , next exam I must make a decision. Because I've worked with .NET2.0 more than 7 years, have a good knowledeg with it, so I hope to take the exam of .NET2.0. But last year, the .NET4.0 had been published... next how I go?
