ASP list box multi select recently selected value

I have a asp listbox of multiselect type and I need to trigger the selected value and get on selected value, i have tried multiple ways but not able to retrive the recently selected value but I can get all the items selected in the list box.

Please help me out for getting the on recently on clicked or on selected value.

You have to store the last selected item somewhere, for example you can use ViewState if you are doing it at the server or use HiddenField if you are using JavaScript. Here's an example that you can refer:
