ASP.Net Core MVC using ADO.Net or EF Code first approach ?

I am new to asp.net core and a bit confused in choosing code first approach or ado.net in Code.I am not much aware of code first approach? Can anyone tell which approach and why should I use .net core 2.1?

A: Is this for a client project or for your learning purpose? If it's learning purpose, then you can play on data access technology. If it's a client project, we have to be really careful about choosing the data access technology. Code first approach or Data first approach must be decided based on the technical competency of your team. If your team is very strong in SQL, we can go ahead with data first approach, if you team strong in C#, we can go ahead with code first approach. why should I use .net core 2.1? A: Platform Independent - You can deploy it on almost any OS Higher Performance - Since it uses Kestrel as a web server, performance will be higher. Hosting - Can be self-hosted or hosted in IIS. I had a experience of Asp.net Core with Code First Approch and Ado.Net. But Based on My Opinion if you are using tricky stored procedure then you should use Ado.Net Because it will be easy and good for you in initial level If you are working with linq or using Sql Queries and Simple Stored Procedure then Code First Approch is good beause you will gain better experience in EF Code First Approch
