As already stated, a controller is nothing but a class. Once it's action is declared publicly, then you should be able to access it just like how you normally access a method in a class. However, action method are not meant to be treated like that. If you want to access something from another controller then you better create a central calls where all your controllers can have access to it when it's necessary.

Controllers are just classes - new one up and call the action method just like you would any other class member:

var result = new ControllerB().FileUploadMsgView("some string");
