ASP.NET web page takes time to load

Hi,

In a recent interview Interviewer asked me this question..

In ASP.NET web application page takes time to load. So how will you start to fix this issue?

Another question is if the root cause is only in application code and not in database. So how we can explain such type of questions.

So how can we answer to this question.

Hi,
As per your question if root cause is only code. then problem must be
1- Please try to reduce the no of loops in your code
2- In code if statement is there on that case try to use switch.
3- Try to use less no of images in the page. If page binding some date then try to get the only specific amount of data to display
4. use caching to make the page load faster

Hi saurabh,

I hope we can give the answers like a below:

1.As per my concern, Mainly in code, most of the time taken when it comes to the Looping ,so by putting the correct values in loop will help to increase the speed.

2.And Then , we should also concentrate on putting the images , by compressing the size of the images will help to increase the load time quickly.

These are the two thing suddenly came to my mind once i saw this question...:) Please let me know your thoughts
