this is not possible with web api once the request is processed the web api have no connection with the client left,
the client will need to again issue a get reuest.
as far as i could understand your requirement you want to send some data from MVC Action A to web api Action A after some processing the the web api action A should return the result to MVC action B, and then MVC action B should do it's task. it is not possible, if you want that web api could send response to MVC action B and then how MVC processes it it is not in the scope then it is possible.
public int MVCActionA(string CallbackURL)
       {
           try
           {
               if (ModelState.IsValid)
               {

                   var getEmployee = client.PostAsJsonAsync("api/Employee", CallbackURL).Result;
                   if (getEmployee.IsSuccessStatusCode)
                   {
                       return 1;
                   }

               }
               return 0;
           }
           catch (Exception ex)
           {
               return 0;
           }
       }
In web API
public HttpResponseMessage Post([FromBody] string callbackURL)
    {
      try
       {
           var data= client.PostAsJsonAsync(callbackUrl, calculatedResult).Result;
    }
    catch (Exception ex)
    {
        return Request.CreateErrorResponse(HttpStatusCode.BadRequest, ex);
    }
  }

you can use HttpClient or RestClient to post data to an address as shown below
public class EmployeeController : Controller
      {
        //
        // GET: /Employee/

        private readonly HttpClient client;
        private readonly string BaseUrl;

        public EmployeeController()
        {
            client = new HttpClient();
            BaseUrl = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["url"];
            client.BaseAddress = new Uri(BaseUrl);
            client.DefaultRequestHeaders.Accept.Add(new MediaTypeWithQualityHeaderValue("application/json"));
        }

[HttpPost]
        public int AddEmployees(Employee employee)
        {
            try
            {
                if (ModelState.IsValid)
                {

                    var getEmployee = client.PostAsJsonAsync("api/Employee", employee).Result;
                    if (getEmployee.IsSuccessStatusCode)
                    {
                        return 1;
                    }

                }
                return 0;
            }
            catch (Exception ex)
            {
                return 0;
            }
        }
