Can I use angular 2 or 4 without using node?

Mannav you are wrong. Node is used just to run typescript and convert into actual js Else no need of node. Node is server side and angular is client side scripting

Yes.. You can use. For that you need to write code in Visual Studio and compile it using Visual Studio. Also for running package, you can just copy the node_modules folder any source into the solution folder where package.json is located.

you can use angular with anyone like dotnet, php or node.

Only advantage of node is to get more library connected with angular avilable easily
