can we add default string after a record in gridview?

As Piyush told you can format data in query and bring in UI But in future if you want to do DML operation like update month values then you take two different lable in single column of gridview.  

i am getting an error of Conversion failed when converting the varchar value 'Month' to Data type int

 

sql ↓

 

select case when (DATEDIFF(MONTH,SYSDATETIME(), a.[Project enddate])) <=0 then 0 else  (DATEDIFF(MONTH,SYSDATETIME(), a.[Project enddate])) END as Months_remaining

If you get the record from sql query, you can add your string  after the number.

And if datatype is int than you have to convert it into nvarchar() .
