Challenges of SQL 2016 Configuration with SharePoint Founda

Hi All,

I have one question, am using SharePoint 2013 Foundation version and successfully configured with SQL server 2016 licence.

do i face any challenges in future with the higher version of SQL server 2016 with SharePoint foundation 2013??

officially SQL server 2016 is not supported with SharePoint 2013. Even you able to configured it with SP 2013 & SQL 2016 but if you see any issue in future...You will not get any support from MSFT. So it is risky. i would not recomend it in any scenrio.
Only the following SQL Server versions are supported with SharePoint 2013:
The 64-bit edition of SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
The 64-bit edition of SQL Server 2012
The 64-bit edition of SQL Server 2014

No, there is no sharepoint foundation version for sharepoint 2016. You can use trial version of the server edition.

as i read sharepoint 2016 is not having Foundation version.
