I disagree with the possibility of allowing more than one question in a thread. It can be very unmanageable to have multiple questions in a thread. One of the major reasons to mark a reply as an answer is to help others in the future to find solutions and it becomes very inconvenient and confusing when there is a lot of material in a thread that is irrelevant to the solution that someone is searching for. Also, asking multiple questions in a thread is less useful for the person asking the questions because people that might be able to answer additional questons might not even look at subsequent questions.

yes, you are right diya, If questioner ask one question and then second and then forever... and if we can give first 1 or 2 and last one can give another person answer then we lost our first 1 or 2 answers point.  :)

While we are working on second suggestion (mail all thread users), first seems litle confusing. A user is most probably going to select a single answer as accepted answer. If we already know that correct answer is already posted for a question, there is NO NEED to post same answer again.
What we can do is, close the thread once an answer is accepted. In that case, users won't be able to reply that thread again.
BTW we do have an Ideas section where we can post new ideas or suggestions. Here is the URL:

yes diya you are right..  a problem may have more than one solution and so there must be an option for multiple check for answers.

It must be implemented here and also i have one more suggestion:

'Suppose some body started a discussion/Post a question and i'm also interested in getting updates for that question.... so a checkbox should be there for following that discussion so that i can have email notification of latest answer posted on that discussion/Question.??

Is it good to have such option???
