You will need to process mouse down and mouse up events of course and when the mouse is down process the mouse move events. Be careful; there will be many mouse move events so you probably will need to ignore some of the mouse move events. Then for each mouse move that you don't ignore, erase the previous line if there is one and then draw a new line.
