column with xml data to be sorted?

I have a column  with 10 rows. Each row has xml datas of many rows.

when i sort it , i get the following error.

The xml data type cannot be compared or sorted, except when using the IS NULL operator.
Warning: The join order has been enforced because a local join hint is used.

How to sortcolumn with xml data.
