connecting to mysql database

thank you , but isn't there a solution for mysql ? it will probably take me long time to change some things in the code if I change to sql server

Hey you can use SQL server database instead of mysql.

I already done that , but it requires xampp to be open , otherwise I get the error "

: 'Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts.'

if I install the application on client's computer , I would need to install xampp too to run the application ?
