create .exe of Windows C# App which includes SQl server 2008

Hi all

I have created an application using Visual Studio 2010 c#, Sql server 2010.

i have tried method of publishing, but Its doesn't add databse to my .exe file.I have add all necessary references to .exe file

how to create .exe of my project so that at run time user can save, retrieve data in running application.

Iam working with Windowsform Application project and using MixedMode Authendication.

please get server ip address as your application will be run from different system. And also it will be required sql authentication i.e. user id and password

Here Server means ServerName?
Database means Catalog name or .mdf file name?
Iam using SqlServer2008R2,
My serverName:ADMIN-PC
my databse .mdf file name:Participant_crystal
Please construct App.config file

you need to add the app.config file while creating the SETUP file. Please refer the below link

no you can't add web.config in windows form. in windows form you can add app.confg which will work for windows form.

Hi,

Use web.config file for connection string thus you can change it easily, without any modification in code.

Use "machine-name" or "IP" instead of "localhost", if you want to connect your database from different system.

Note: SQL Server and MySQL Server both are installed as server, and it's better to install these application separately.
