Hello, How can i create a workflow programatically without using SharePoint designer and toolbox in Visual studio Is there a way to create a workflow from scratch with all activities? Thanks in advance

Hi, Thank you for your reply. Actually, I want to create an approval process task in SharePoint without using SharePoint designer and the controls in toolbox in Visual studio. I've created a custom task inherited from CodeActivity, the workflow send an email to the assigned users contains the task's details. but I can't add the link to the approval form of SharePoint in the email. Any idea? Thanks in advance

Hi Aline, you can CSOM for creating workflow. Its client side object model and you can embed with Javascript.
