data annotation for form validation

Hi Team

I want to find some examples where user leaves textbox from the form. It will validates "The field is required cannot be empty", only using data annotation not javascript error handling. Please mates help i need this implementation for my application of web app in c# asp.net.

I have put this logic for that but im unable to get any error message before leaving the texbox. See my logic for thos required fields within a form.

above your field in model class.

for example:
[Require (ErrorMessage="The field is required it can not be empty")]
public string Name {get; set; }

Inside the model class of this field put [required] attribute on the top of the field Eg : [required] Public string name {get; set;}
