Hi,

iam amudhan,

i have one doubt for sql anyone please rectify it

how to Create one script to update table of another database

i.e I am in database a so update table "test" on database base b....

yes you can use Sql server

This being a plain SQL query should work on most of DBs including mySQL too

update [IT TEST].dbo.Namelist
set name = 'ganesh'
from [IT TEST1].dbo.addresslist
where namelist.id = 5

Hello

Yes you can do this but requirement is that you should have both database in same server

Like i can say :

update DB1.dbo.Test1
set value = // your value
from DB2.dbo.Test2
where // your condition

So this way you can access of another database in same server
